David at Tom’s Hardwood Floors was great to work with and his crew does great work. We had pretty severe cupping on our hardwood floors (possibly due to improper installation) but David assured me that the cupping could be corrected by sanding and refinishing the floors — no need to replace. We worked with David and his crew to put down ten stain samples total (!), including a couple blends because we were stuck between a couple different stains. They even tore out old carpeting in a large hall closet and installed hardwood over the plywood that was under the carpet. The transition is flawless and you’d never know the closet wasn’t part of the original job. Really appreciated David’s responsiveness and good/constant communication, his fair pricing and his crew’s excellent work and overall care. Attached are a few before and after photos.

Awesome! Professional, detailed, and clean work. We have hardwood floors throughout our home and needed to have one room refinished, another area sanded down to even out a deep groove and refinished in matching stain, and thirdly two pieces of wood with holes replaced where the sub floor had given in. The last “smaller” jobs were the most challenging. The groove was sanded down and evened out with the surrounding floor and the two broken pieces of wood were replaced. The stain was matched and the floor looks great. I can’t tell where the repairs were made. Once all the work was done they cleaned up thoroughly and there was no need for me to do any cleaning. They had covered up everything around their work areas and vacuumed and dusted afterwards. I think my home was cleaner after they left than before they arrived! We couldn’t be happier with the work and highly recommend Tom’s Hardwood Floors.
